Why None of Corrupt Congress Leaders is in Jail – Is BJP Saving Corrupts from Congress?

Since independence, we all have seen numerous frauds; perhaps all political parties are competing each other that will be ahead in the scam race. In this political drama, the congress party has been standing at much loss. The Congress party is carrying the highest number of the corrupted leaders, so now.

Congress has been the most corrupt party and the India’s first scam took place under the leadership of congress leader Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. Since the commencement of Indian National Congress, the list of scams and scandals under their regime is endless, the insurance scam, telecom scam, urea scam, hawala scandal, and fodder scam in Bihar (1996). The Satyam scandal in 2009 was perhaps the biggest corporate fraud ever that raised eyebrow and highlights need of better government.

Currently, whether we talk about commonwealth games, 2G scam, Aadarsh society scam, many congress leaders were accused, but still they are flying free, does it shows the impotence of BJP or BJP trying to save corrupt congress leaders?

At the time of election, the BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi proclaimed that they will eradicate corruption from this country and ensure that all the offenders are sent to jail. He also promised to crack down on MPs with criminal antecedents across party lines. But till now, not a single corrupt leader has been taken into custody.

When BJP won in Haryana, people of India thought that the bad time of Mr. Vadra has been started, but nothing had happened expectedly. Somehow, it seems that BJP is protecting their own corrupt leaders and afraid of losing their current image or else BJP guarding against its diluting image in corruption concerns. As there not a single Indian political party is free from it.

With the person like of A Raja, Kapil Sibbal, Chidambaram, Sheela Dixit, Pawan Kumar Bansal all congress leaders once have been impeached.

There are many constitutional coups that congress has successfully pulled off:

  • In the year 2008, the cash for vote scam occur with which they overcome a no-confidence motion that would surely have toppled them.
  • The year 2011 moved around the hounding and harassing of B.S. Yeddyurappa with the sole intent of toppling BJP government in Karnataka. However, the court later exonerated him, but it takes huge time for BJP to send him in the prison.

In each and every scandal, the congress party has managed to hang on to the party effectively played the game with the system and subverted the checks and the balances. Mayhap, the masters mind Sonia Gandhi working behind on it.

The honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the time of the Lok Sabha election assured to reopen all corruption-related cases and to set up a committee to find out what cases are pending against corrupted people, even BJP and NDA candidates will not be discriminated. But now, this annunciation seems like a fake one, as no steps have been taken towards this direction.

Now, Indian democracy needs to be free from any criminalisation and corruption.
