NEW DELHI:  Delivering historic results for Delhi’s Class 12 CBSE examinations, governing AAP has set high standards for education in government schools. pass percentage improved by over one per cent in Class 12 CBSE examinations, results for which were announced today, even as government schools outperformed the private ones. Class 12 Delhi region pass percentage is 88.37 per cent as compared to 87.01 per cent last year.

However if data of last 7 years , the gap in results is exciting for government . Pass percentage of Delhi government schools is 88.27 per cent, leaving 79.27 per cent of the private schools far behind, as per results announced by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) officials.

Also, Delhi secured 3rd rank in region- wise board result with Trivandrum and Chennai on the top.

For the stunning performance, education minister Manish Sisodia and  Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter to appreciate and congratulate the students for their performance.
